The Moon, The Cake and The Paper.

Mooncake Festival is around the corner….to be exact – 14 September 2008.
Another marketing opportunity for the hoteliers/restauranteurs to roll out a series of overly priced, weirdly flavoured mooncakes.
Me, being old school, typically get mine from 大中国. Theirs being wickedly oily and comes with the little melon seeds which you hardly get to find in the [...]

The Ping Pong Game

She has probably top the chart in google search in recent days after the sacking issue.
To me, I don’t think there’s a huge problem in sacking whoever needs to be sacked or asked to leave. It doesn’t mean that the “Silver Medal” equals to “No Sacking” and “No Medals” equals to “Sacking”. Then, doesn’t it [...]

What made an eye sore was that “Manageable” grading!!!
Well, HERO wasn’t really at his best form on test day but generally, he did pretty well. The examiner commented he would have given HERO a “Good” grade if the leash was [...]

Foreign Talent?

This piece of news caught my eye.
39,490 babies were born in Singapore last year, but not all were born of Singaporean parents.

Singapore man fathered 75% . Singapore women mothered 65%.
Talk about foreign talent, eh?
I tried to do my part, afterall National Day is around the corner! What’s best than doing my part for National Service, [...]

Canon 450D

Have been spending more time snapping with my camera. A Point and Shoot Fujifilm F31d, which is probably 1 year old. No complaints about it but when backside itchy hor, want to play with DSLR. Was actuallythinking of Canon G9 but was told its a glamourised point and shoot.
Was talking to a “God” in Snap-World. [...]
